Contending for Truth!
Welcome to the official site of Attached to the Vine Ministries (ATVM)! We are a group of believers in Surprise, Arizona who are seeking to give glory to the Lord in everything we do. Why? Because He bought us with a very high price! He purchased our freedom with His very own precious blood. Therefore, we do not go around preaching about ourselves; but we preach Christ Jesus, the Lord. We preach Christ crucified and the need for men everywhere to repent. Yes, we preach repentance towards God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. We preach that all men must do works befitting repentance. In other words, they must prove their repentance by the good things they do.
Unfortunately, we live in a time where so many pastors are truly false prophets! These so called men of God, who say they are from the Lord, are really misleading God's people with lies and false teachings straight down the broad road which leads to destruction. These men and women who say, "This is what the Lord says" when He has not spoken are constantly stealing each others words and using their own words pretending that they have a message from the Lord. These so called men of God with all their degrees and papers have gone the way of Balaam. They only want your money. They follow after their own evil desires, while teaching lies that are causing people to be lost. They may look gentle and sound polished and nice but they are really ravenous wolves, servants of satan, and extremely dangerous.
We are living in the last days where there will be many troubles, because people will love themselves, love money, brag, and be proud! The Apostle Paul goes on to say, "They will say evil things against others and will not obey their parents or be thankful or be the kind of people God wants. They will not love others, will refuse to forgive, will gossip, and will not control themselves. They will be cruel, will hate what is good, will turn against their friends, and will do foolish things without thinking. They will be conceited, will love pleasure instead of God, and will act as if they serve God but will not have His power.
The Word of God goes on and instructs us to stay away from people like that! Yet, it is people like that who are filling our pulpits and leading churches today. They control and dominate all forms of Christian Media whether it be television, radio, or the print media. Through their lies that tickle the ear they are literally encouraging people to go on in their sins. Yes, the majority of the so-called church today is blinded, deceived by these doctrines of demons. There is no need to imagine what the rebellion, apostasy, or falling away would be like all you have to do is ask the Lord to remove the scales of religion from your eyes and you will see clearly. WE ARE IN IT NOW and I thank the Lord for His mercy, opening my eyes to the truth, and showing me the need to be holy and endure to the end to be saved.
Jude exhorts, encourages, appeals or urges us to defend the truth, to fight hard, to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. Why? Because some godless people have wormed their way in among you, saying that God's forgiveness allows us to live immoral lives. That is why this site is being put together. It is one way that we hope to present the True Gospel and to reach anyone who is wandering from the truth in order to bring them to repentance and back to God saving that sinner from death.
It is our hope and prayer that as you visit this site the Lord will lead you to examine yourself to make sure that you are in the faith, that He will bring you into an even deeper understanding of the love of God and the endurance that comes from Christ. We hope that you will think about what is being said on this website and that the Lord may give you understanding in all these things.
